Message from the President

President Kenealy read a letter to the members with regards to an up-coming National Golf Tournament to be held in Myrtle Beach, SC.

President Kenealy then read a letter about the New York State AOH “Burns- Hayes Award.

President Kenealy then read a letter from our State President Chip McLean. The letter dealt with the transfer of policing and justice powers in the North of Ireland from London to the North Assembly. The agreement provides for some key issues. The Irish Language and those who choose to speak it are preserved and protected as well as the rights and control by the residents of the Parades remains intact. I am confident that this clearly shows a leap forward toward a United Ireland.

Irish Language Couses

Brother Tom O' Mallay will conduct Irish Language course to be held at Herkimer County Community College.

Basic Irish Language:  Wednesdays 7:00 - 8:30pm  February 10,17, 24 and March 3rd.

Irish Language II:  February 4, 18, 25, and March 4 Thursdays 7:00 - 8:30.
